Trebuie sa va spun ca nu am tinut niciodata dieta la mancare, pe de o parte pentru ca sunt destul de slabuta pentru inaltimea mea si pe de alta parte pentru ca nu cred ca ma pot disciplina la capitolul acesta...ei, de cand am blogul am inceput sa prepar mai multe dulciuri si incepe sa se vada la cantar :)) nu mult, vreun 1-2 kg in plus, dar pentru mine e deja alarmant si e musai sa o las mai moale cu dulciurile si cu caloriile in mancare, cel putin pentru un timp...asta nu inseamna ca nu ma abat din cand in cand :) ca sa inchei seria de retete dulci din perioada recenta am zis sa prezint repede budinca de paste dulci, daca tot nu am mancat de foarte mult timp :)
Budinca de taitei cu branza de vaci sau Vargabeles, este de origine ungureasca si e una dintre cele mai usoare retete de preparat, rapida si foarte apreciata de toata lumea, mai ales de cei mici :)
I must say that I've never been on a food diet in my life, partly because I'm kind of skinny for my height and also because I can't really discipline myself when it comes to food...well, since I started posting recipes here I also began making more sweets and it's starting to show up on the scale :)) not too much, 1-2 kg more than usual, but for me that's an alarm signal and I must cut down on sweets and high calorie dishes, at least for a while...that doesn't mean I can't make exceptions once in a while :) to close the recent series of sweet recipes I thought I should post the Sweet Pasta Pudding recipe, since I can't remember when I last ate this delicious dessert :)
Sweet Pasta Pudding with Cottage Cheese or Vargabeles is a Hungarian recipe, very simple to make but highly appreciated by everyone, especially by kids :)
Ingrediente/Ingredients:
250 g paste/250 g pasta
250 g branza de vaci/250 g cottage cheese
100 g smantana/100 g sour cream
3 oua/3 eggs
5 linguri cu zahar (eu am folosit brun)/5 tablespoons with sugar (I used brown sugar)
zahar vanilat/vanilla sugar
coaja de lamaie/lemon peel
Cum se face/How it's made:
Mai intai fierbem pastele conform instructiunilor de pe pachet, si cand sunt fierte le punem in strecuratoare si le lasam sa se raceasca putin.
Intr-un bol amestecam branza de vaci cu 2 galbenusuri, zaharul, coaja de lamaie si smantana.
We cook the pasta following the instructions on the package and when they're done, we drain them and let them cool slightly.
In a bowl we combine together cottage cheese with 2 egg yolks, sugar, lemon peel and sour cream.
Adaugam pastele scurse de apa si le amestecam bine.
We add the pasta and we combine them with the liquid.
Batem albusurile cu un varf de sare si le incorporam usor in compozitia de paste.
We beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt and we gently fold them in the pasta mixture.
Tapetam o forma cu unt si faina si punem compozitia de paste. Batem oul ramas si il turnam deasupra.
We grease and flour a baking dish and we place the pasta mixture. We beat the remained egg and we pour it on top.
Punem forma in cuptorul preincalzit la 175 grade pentru 35-40 minute, pana se rumeneste frumos deasupra.
We place the baking dish in the preheated oven at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes, until it's golden brown on top.
Lasam sa se raceasca si servim!
We let it cool slightly and then we serve!

Ciorba de pui cu smantana (Sour Cream Chicken Soup)

Nu cred ca am mancat vreodata ciorba de pui sau radauteana cum i se mai spune si ma gandeam sa o incerc daca tot e frig afara. Ce a iesit mi-a placut tare mult, mai ales ca are si usturoi, iar mie imi plac aproape toate mancarurile cu usturoi :)
Ingrediente:
2 pulpe de pui
2 morcovi
1 ceapa
1/4 telina
1 ardei mic
3 catei usturoi
1 ou
200 g smantana
patrunjel verde
sare, piper
Cum se face:
Spalam puiul foarte bine si il punem la fiert intr-o oala cu 2 litri apa si 2 lingurite sare, avand grija sa luam afara spuma care se formeaza.
Intre timp, tocam ceapa, morcovul si telina marunt, iar cand supa incepe sa fiarba le adaugam la supa.
Cand puiul e fiert (il incercam cu o furculita), il scoatem cu o paleta pe o farfurie si il taiem bucatele, indepartand oasele.
Tocam marunt ardeiul si il adaugam la supa impreuna cu puiul tocat.
Apoi batem oul si zdrobim usturoiul cu presa.
Adaugam in bol smantana si amestecam bine cu oul.
Tragem oala cu supa deoparte si punem un polonic de supa in smantana, omogenizam si adaugam la supa. Amestecam bine, punem din nou pe foc pentru 2 minute, condimentam si punem patrunjel.
Servim cu ardei iute sau cu gogosar murat dupa gust. Bon appetit!

I don't think I've ever eaten sour cream chicken soup, and I was thinking I should try it since it's still cold outside. I really liked the soup, especially because it contains garlic, and I love foods that contain garlic :)

1 onion
1/4 celery root
1 small pepper (jalapeno)
3 garlic cloves
1 egg
200 g sour cream
fresh parsley
salt, pepper
How it's made:
First we wash the chicken and we let it boil in a pot with 2 litres of water and 2 teaspoons of salt, making sure we remove the foam from the soup.
Meanwhile we chop the onion, carrots and celery and when the soup starts to boil, we add them to the soup and let the soup cook for 30-40 minutes on low heat.
When the chicken is tender, we take it out on a plate and we cut it in smaller pieces.
We chop the pepper and we add it to the soup with the chopped chicken.
After that, we beat the egg, add the crushed garlic and the sour cream and mix them all very well.
We set aside the pot with the soup, and we add 3 tablespoons of soup to the sour cream mixture, we mix them very well and we add them to the whole soup, stirring until it all blends on low heat for 2 minutes.
We add salt, pepper and chopped parsley and we stir again.
We serve with marinated peppers and sour cream. Bon appetit!

Rotini Carbonara

De multe ori caut retete foarte rapid de preparat pentru cand nu am chef sa gatesc sau nu am mare lucru prin frigider, de aceea ma gandeam sa postez mai multe retete de acest gen in urmatoarea perioada. Pastele carbonara (de data aceasta am folosit "rotini") imi plac tare mult, ce e drept ca varianta mea de a le face, care nu mai e cea originala italiana, dar care sper sa va placa!
Ingrediente:
400 g rotini (spaghete e clasic)
300 g mozzarella (cascaval)
2 oua
100 g smantana
100 g bacon
2 catei usturoi
sare, piper
optional parmezan
Cum se face:
Mai intai punem la fiert pastele in apa cu sare si respectam instructiunile de pe pachet. Ca sa fac o paranteza, eu am vrut sa folosesc alt tip de paste, m-am plictisit de spaghete, iar pastele de la Barilla imi plac tare mult.
Cand pastele sunt gata, le scurgem de apa, le clatim 1 secunda cu apa rece, le scurgem si le lasam acoperite pana facem sosul.
Batem ouale si le lasam deoparte. Dam pe razatoare cascavalul.
Intr-o tigaie punem 1 lingura ulei si prajim baconul taiat bucatele.
Cand baconul e rumenit adaugam usturoiul zdrobit si tragem tigaia deoparte (sa nu se faca amar usturoiul).
Adaugam pastele scurse de apa, si ouale batute si amestecam bine pe foc mic, pana se incheaga oul (nu imi place deloc varianta cu ou crud, mai ales ca eu am alergie la oua).
Cand oul s-a inchegat, adaugam branza data pe razatoare, smantana si condimentam.
Servim pastele calde cu parmezan presarat deasupra, au o aroma extraordinara!!! Bon appetit!

There are a lot of times when I'm searching for recipes easy to prepare that don't take too much time to get them ready, like when you're not in the mood to cook or you don't have much in the fridge, that's why I thought it would be good to post more recipes like that. Pasta Carbonara (this time I used "rotini") is a great dish which I truly enjoy, although I use my own way to make them and not the original italian recipe, but I hope you'll like it!

I wanna mention that I used rotini pasta from Barilla which I really like, I'm kind of bored of using the spaghetti ones.
We beat the eggs, and grate the cheese.
In a large frying pan we heat up 1 tablespoon of oil, and we fry the bacon, cut in small pieces.
When the bacon is ready, we add the crushed garlic and set the pan aside.
We add the drained pasta, we stir and we add the eggs, placing the pan back on the stove, and we stir until the egg is fried (I have an egg allergy, so I don't really like the original version of cooking the egg).
When the eggs are fried we add the cheese and sour cream, spices and we mix them all together.
We serve the rotini warm sprinkled with Parmesan on top, they have a lovely flavor! Bon appetit!

Ciorba cu ciuperci Portobello (Portobello Mushroom Soup)

Ingrediente:
500 g ciuperci Portobello
2 morcovi
1/2 ardei
1 felie telina
3 catei usturoi mari
1 ou
250 g smantana grasa
100 g iaurt
Cum se face:
Se spala ciupercile, se curata de coaja si se taie felii.
Celelalte legume se curata de coaja, ardeiul se toaca marunt, iar radacinoasele se dau pe razatoare.
Intr-o oala mai adanca punem o lingura de ulei si calim putin morcovul cu telina.
Dupa ce s-au inmuiat putin, adaugam ciupercile, ardeiul si 2,5 litri de apa, condimentam cu sare, piper si lasam sa fiarba la foc mic timp de 40 minute.
Cand ciupercile sunt fierte, batem oul intr-un bol, amestecam cu usturoiul zdrobit, smantana si iaurtul, punem 2 polonice din supa si omogenizam amestecul, iar apoi il punem peste ciorba data deoparte.

This is the first time i try themushroom soup recipe, but I thought our menu should vary slightly. I got an extremely tasty soup, I hope you try it at least once!

Cred ca ati observat deja ca folosesc destul de des ciupercile in retetele mele :) Imi plac tare mult si sunt si foarte sanatoase asa ca incerc sa gasesc tot felul de combinatii. Pana acum nu am mai incercat reteta de supa cu ciuperci, dar m-am gandit ca ar mai varia putin meniul nostru. Mi-a iesit o ciorba extraordinar de gustoasa, sper sa o incercati macar o data!
Ingrediente:
500 g ciuperci Portobello

Ingredients:
2 carrots
1/2 green pepper
1 slice of celery root
3 big garlic cloves
1egg
250 g fat sour cream
100 g plain yogurt
How it's made:
We first wash the mushrooms, we peel and cut them in strips.
We peel the other vegetables, chop the pepper, and grate the carrot and celery.
In a soup pot we heat 1 tablespoon of oil and we add the carrot and celery frying them for 1 minute, until they soften.
We add the pepper and the mushrooms and 2,5 litres of water, we add salt and pepper and we let it boil for 40 minutes, until the mushrooms are soft.
when the mushrooms are ready, we beat the egg in a bowl with sour cream and yogurt, we add the crushed garlic, some soup, we mix it very well and we add it to the soup, stirring very well.
We let the soup to cool down and we serve with sour cream and sprinkle with parsley leaves.

Supa de salata verde (Lettuce Soup)

Cum afara e frig si urat (sper sa vina primavara ca nu mai suport frigul) am pregatit o supa de salata delicioasa, exact asa cum mi-o amintesc de acasa, cu smantana si bacon prajit. Sper sa va placa!
Ingrediente:
2 salate mari (capatani)
2 oua
bacon
4 catei usturoi
200 g smantana
350 g iaurt simplu
50 g orez
Cum se face:
Mai intai spalam salata foarte bine si o rupem bucati mai mici. Tocam 2 catei de usturoi marunt.
Taiem baconul in bucati mici, dupa preferinta.
Intr-o oala punem 2 linguri de ulei iar cand se incinge adaugam baconul si-l prajim putin. Cand s-a rumenit, adaugam usturoiul tocat (eu am adaugat si 1/2 lingurita de boia, pt culoare).
Amestecam foarte putin si punem aproximativ 3 litri de apa peste. Cand apa a inceput sa fiarba, adaugam salata verde si orezul (curatat si spalat in prealabil). Puteti anula orezul din reteta daca nu va place, mie imi place mai mult cu orez. Condimentam cu sare si lasam sa fiarba la foc mic.
Cand orezul este fiert, batem cele 2 oua, adaugam smantana si iaurtul si amestecam bine.
Luam supa de pe foc si punem 2 linguri din supa peste oua, amestecam, iar apoi adaugam ouale cu smantana in oala cu supa, amestecand bine. Adaugam si cei 2 catei de usturoi ramasi curatati si zdrobiti cu presa.

Because it's still cold and ugly outside, I prepared this delicious lettuce soup, exactly how I remember it from home, with bacon and sour cream. Hope you enjoy!
Ingredients:
2 eggs
bacon
4 garlic cloves
200 g sour cream
350 g plain yogurt
50 g white rice
How it's made:
We first wash very well the lettuce and tear it or cut it into smaller pieces.
We chop 2 garlic cloves and cut the bacon into smaller pieces.
In a pot we put 2 tablespoons of oil, we add the bacon and fry it a little bit. When its browned, we add chopped garlic (I added 1 / 2 teaspoon paprika, for color), we mix and pour 3 litres of water.
When the water starts to boil, we add the lettuce and the rice (previously cleaned and washed).
Meanwhile we beat the eggs, we add the yogurt and the sour cream, we mix it very well, we add 2 tablespoons of soup and we mix it.
We put the pot aside and we add the sour cream mixture and stir very well. We finally add the 2 minced garlic cloves remained and spice with salt and pepper.
We let it cool down. Bon appetit!
